Matt 14:22-36, Ex. 4-6 (by MA)

*Matt 14:22-36, Ex. 4-6*
*Believing in God!*
*[[Mat 14:31]] NHEB* Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
Believe in God can be shaken by the circumstances on ground. Peter started walking on the water and started sinking when he saw the waves.
In Exodus 4, God spent a lot of time to get Moses to believe Him. Finally, Moses agrees and goes to Pharoah! Then Pharoah makes life more difficult and Moses begins to doubt again!
Ex. 5:22 Moses returned to the LORD, and said, “Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Why is it that you have sent me?
23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people; neither have you delivered your people at all.”
Finally Moses, for the third time goes to his favorite excuse....
*[[Exo 6:30]] NHEB* Moses said before the LORD, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh listen to me?”
God will always ask us to do things that are God sized! We do well to make up our minds to just believe Him and do what He requires of us. If we don't believe Him, we limit what He can do through us.
Lord Jesus, like Peter, I want to follow You. Bid me come to You! Even as I say this to you, I feel like Moses, with fear in my heart because You can do things that are unbelievable!
But Lord, do I have a choice? I must walk and work with You...... So I ask for a believing heart especially when waves come up and Pharoahs make life more difficult for believers. Keep me believing.... Eyes squarely on You alone.
Thank You for the privilege of Working with You.
Amen
