*[[Deu 29:4]] ISV* Yet to this day, the LORD hasn’t given you a heart that understands, eyes that perceive, and ears that discern.
The same issues with the disciples in the NT. Jesus kept asking them why they don't see with their eyes, hear with their ears and understand with their hearts.
And same with me, Lord....i forget so quickly! Establish a permanent hearing, seeing and perceiving ability in me. Amen
*[[Deu 30:19]] ISV* I call heaven and earth to testify against you today! I’ve set life and death before you today: both blessings and curses. Choose life, that it may be well with you—you and your children.
Life is a choice. Let's choose life.
*[[Deu 30:20]] ISV* Love the LORD your God, obey his voice, and cling to him, because he is your life—even your long life—so that you may live in the land that the LORD promised to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

They dressed him in a purple robe, twisted some thorns into a victor’s crown, and placed it on his head. 18 They began to greet him, “Long live the king of the Jews!” 19 They kept hitting him on the head with a stick, spitting on him, kneeling in front of him, and worshiping him. 20 When they had finished making fun of him, they stripped him of the purple robe, put his own clothes back on him, and led him away to crucify him.
Men mocking their Redeemer! It's an intense moment when even the angels in the heaven did not come near. God had given the Redeemer to the hands of men.
And He went through all this because of me!
