One more lesson from this popular story. The sorrows of people around Jesus touched Him! He got very distressed in the spirit and angry and in the presence of every so well composed leaders of Israel in the audience, he wept!
His was not a pat on Mary's back advocating for peace and calmness. He was touched by the situation and the people on ground..... He wept!!!
Enough of macho-minded comforts....'it is well', 'God is in control', 'be strong' ...... Lord let my heart break at the brokenness of my world! Cause the sorrow of the world to sweep over my soul. Cause the pain in the world to find its way into my own heart and emotions. Help me to weep!!!
